DJ portraits & event atmosphere
At late-night electronic music events, I photograph DJs during the set. I wait for the small movement, expression, or change in light that makes the portrait work. The artist stays part of the room, framed by decoration, crowd, and the atmosphere built around the music.
The result is not only a record of who played. It is a set of images that shows the performer, the space, and the feeling of the night. Artists get portraits with presence. Organizers get images that reflect the event's identity.
